Trane is confident enough in the energy efficiency of it’s AC/Heat systems that they will now guarantee a homeowner’s reduction in energy when a low efficiency system is upgraded to a qualifying high efficiency Trane system.
This guarantee is based on you, the homeowner’s, historical energy usage.
If the predicted reduction in energy usage is not achieved during each of the first three years of ownership, Trane will pay the homeowner the amount of the year’s shortfall in energy savings (kWh) multiplied by a Base Electric Rate ($/kWh).
