TRENCHLESS SEWER REPAIR

Trenchless Sewer Line Repair in Tucson, AZ

Sewer line problems can disrupt your home quickly, especially when traditional repairs involve digging through landscaping, patios, or driveways. Trenchless sewer solutions enable Tucson homeowners to repair or replace damaged sewer lines while minimizing property disruption.

Instead of extensive excavation, trenchless methods use advanced technology to restore sewer lines from the inside or install new piping along the existing path. These approaches help correct drainage issues, reinforce aging pipes, and address severe damage without tearing up your yard. Rite Way provides professional trenchless sewer services in Tucson, AZ, delivering long-term solutions with minimal impact to your home.

What Is Trenchless Sewer Line Repair?

Trenchless sewer line repair is a modern method for restoring underground sewer pipes without extensive excavation. Depending on the condition of the existing pipe, trenchless techniques can be used to repair, reinforce, or replace sewer lines while avoiding large-scale digging. Learn more about the process and benefits of trenchless sewer technology.

Using specialized equipment, a flexible liner may be inserted into the damaged sewer line and cured in place, forming a smooth and durable interior surface. In cases where the pipe cannot be reinforced, trenchless replacement methods may be recommended instead.

Once cured or replaced, the sewer line regains structural integrity, improved flow, and protection against future issues. Homeowners often choose trenchless solutions because they preserve landscaping and reduce post-repair restoration work.

Is Trenchless Sewer Repair Right for Your Home?

Trenchless sewer repair is not the right solution for every situation, but it works well for many Tucson homes. It is commonly recommended when sewer pipes are damaged but still structurally intact.

This repair method may be a good option if:

  • Sewer backups or slow drains continue to return
  • Tree roots have entered the sewer line
  • Cracks, corrosion, or joint separation are present
  • The sewer line runs beneath landscaping, concrete, or structures

A camera inspection allows our technicians to determine whether trenchless repair, trenchless replacement, or another solution is the best option based on the condition of the pipe.

Very professional service, knowledgeable person, efficient, on time, I am very satisfied with the visit and your company. Daniel Ramos is a true gem! He arrived on time. He got everything done that was asked to have him do. Sink in bathroom drain, kitchen dishwasher, garbage disposal, clean out. Water heater, drained and checked temperature on water heater adjusted. Thank you, Daniel for selling all of my plumbing problems. Margi Magruder I am revising my review. My second review above was very positive about my experience with Daniel. After he left, I tried to flush the toilet after spending $500 in repairs which I now think were unnecessary. I was not informed of the total expense that that would be beforehand or I would not have agreed. I would have just left the inner workings of the toilet and had it adjusted so it would not run. I pushed the handle down almost all the way before the fixture would engage. And then very little came through to flush the toilet. It has gotten worse and worse and now two days later it does not flush at all. I had texted Daniel right after I discovered it the same day and he very nicely said he would come back and fix it. Then I discovered that the electric switch for the garbage disposal was up, but the garbage disposal would not work. I ran water in the sink and it filled up with no drainage from the kitchen sink and through the garbage disposal. I tried to turn on the garbage disposal and it would not work. I know how to do the reset button so I did that several times. Each time the garbage disposal motor would come on and hum and then the reset button popped out. I know how to unplug a garbage disposal with an allan wrench, but I paid to have this done. I have not been able to do dishes for the last two days. I specifically had called about these two issues. A few other ones were fixed satisfactory. So I am back to having a toilet that does not flush and a kitchen sink that does not drain. I am too angry to have repair visit so I will use a bucket to flush the toilet and leave the dishes undone. A repair visit was offered, but I am too angry to accept it right now.

  • Trained technicians with trenchless sewer repair experience
  • Advanced camera inspection technology for accurate diagnostics
  • Clear explanations so homeowners understand repair options

Trenchless Sewer Repair vs Traditional Sewer Repair

Traditional sewer repair involves digging to access and replace damaged pipes. This often means removing landscaping, breaking concrete, and completing additional restoration work once repairs are finished.

Trenchless sewer repair offers a less invasive alternative:

  • Minimal disruption to yards, patios, and driveways
  • Shorter repair timelines in many cases
  • Less restoration work after repairs
  • Reinforced pipes designed for long-term performance

For many Tucson homeowners, trenchless repair provides an effective balance between durability and property protection.

Sewer Pipe Materials Compatible With Trenchless Repair

Trenchless sewer repair works with several common sewer pipe materials found in Tucson homes, including:

  • Clay sewer pipes
  • Cast iron sewer lines
  • Orangeburg pipes
  • PVC and ABS sewer piping

A video inspection confirms whether the existing pipe material is suitable for lining and identifies any areas that need preparation before repair.

What to Expect During Trenchless Sewer Line Repair

Understanding the repair process helps homeowners feel confident before work begins. Trenchless sewer repair is designed to be efficient and predictable.

During service, you can expect:

  • A detailed camera inspection to locate damage
  • Thorough pipe cleaning to remove buildup and debris
  • Installation of a pipe liner that restores structural integrity
  • A final inspection to confirm proper flow and performance

Most trenchless sewer repairs are completed with minimal excavation.

How We Handle Trenchless Sewer Line Replacement in Tucson, AZ

In some cases, sewer pipes are too damaged or deteriorated for lining alone. When repair is no longer sufficient, trenchless sewer line replacement allows a new pipe to be installed without extensive excavation.

Finding the Problem

Every trenchless sewer line replacement begins with a camera inspection. This allows our technicians to determine whether the existing pipe can be repaired with lining or if full replacement is the better long-term solution. Severe collapse, extensive separation, or advanced corrosion often point toward replacement.

Clearing Out the Existing Pipes

Before replacement, the sewer line is cleared of debris, roots, and buildup. Proper preparation ensures equipment can move through the line safely and allows for accurate placement of the new pipe.

Inserting the New Pipe

Trenchless sewer line replacement is commonly performed using pipe bursting methods. This process breaks apart the existing damaged pipe while simultaneously pulling a new, durable pipe into place. The result is a brand-new sewer line installed along the same path without trenching across your property.

Final Inspection and Cleanup

Once the new sewer line is installed, a final camera inspection confirms correct alignment, flow, and connection. Access points are sealed, and disruption to landscaping or hardscaping is kept to a minimum.

  • Recurring sewer backups or slow drains
  • Gurgling sounds from toilets or drains
  • Sewage odors inside or outside the home
  • Multiple plumbing fixtures affected at the same time
  • Wet or unusually green patches in the yard

Addressing these issues early can help prevent more extensive damage.
