Marana has grown from a cotton-farming community along the Santa Cruz River into one of the fastest growing towns in the Tucson metro, and its housing stock reflects that range. Continental Ranch, built primarily between 1989 and 2004 near the Twin Peaks interchange, is now home to copper supply lines that are 20 to 35 years old in many homes. Gladden Farms, built since 2005 and anchored by Marana Heritage River Park, represents the newer wave. And Dove Mountain, in the Tortolita Mountains foothills, brings its own higher-end installation and fixture needs. Across all of these communities, water comes from Marana Water, the Town’s own municipal utility drawing from groundwater wells in the Tucson Basin Aquifer since 1997, and desert hard water is a year-round reality for most households here.
Rite Way has been the Tucson area’s trusted plumber since 1959, and we know Marana’s communities, its water, and its homes. We have over 13,000 Google reviews with a 4.9 star rating and we answer the phones around the clock. Whether you are in Continental Ranch, Gladden Farms, or Dove Mountain, call us any time to schedule service.
Marana’s mix of construction eras means plumbing warning signs look different depending on your neighborhood. In Continental Ranch, aging copper lines are the most common culprit behind pinhole leaks, pressure drops, and water heater failures. In Gladden Farms and newer parts of town, the concern shifts toward hard water scale building inside fixtures and appliances faster than homeowners expect. Either way, these are the signals worth paying attention to:
Catching these early is almost always cheaper than waiting. Call us and we will help you figure out what you are dealing with.

Brand new unit purchased. Had six technicians come to the house since September started. Supposedly the part has been ordered it will take maybe two weeks or so they can't say????? No one has said nothing no supervisor .The bad part is my mother is a in home hospice patient. Trying to keep someone comfortable and not agitated. We have a portable AC unit , but the point is the electric bill . Going on and off .Posted on Google![]()

We had an air conditioner go out on a very hot day. We called Rite Way at 8 am and they sent out Robert that same morning. He explained what was wrong with the unit, had the part installed and everything working by noon. We were so happy and really appreciated how Robert took the time to explain the problem and that he got it all done so quickly.Posted on Google![]()

We have had 4 different HVAC systems installed by Rite Way over the past 8 years, in three different houses. The latest system was installed two weeks ago. We are very pleased with all aspects of the service provided. The salesperson, Ian Barcelo, had a no-nonsense, straight-shooting approach. The price quoted was competitive and they provided clear details on what work was going to be done. Our most recent installation was overseen by Kiwi Haretaku. They expected a one-day job. It ended up being two full days. The two-person installation crew was exceptional. They kept me informed of unexpected issues and the solutions to them. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. Five Star Service.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. With over 13,000 Google reviews and a 4.9 star rating, Rite Way has been the Tucson area’s trusted plumber since 1959. Here is why Marana homeowners call us first:

Marana’s name comes from the Spanish word for “thicket,” a nod to the dense mesquite brush that once lined the Santa Cruz River through this stretch of the valley. That agricultural identity is still alive at Marana Heritage River Park, where the Town preserves its cotton-farming roots and hosts its annual Founders’ Day and Fall Festival celebrations. From those Santa Cruz River bottomlands to the golf course homes of Dove Mountain and the family neighborhoods filling in around Gladden Farms, Marana covers a lot of ground, and we have been serving all of it for decades. We stand by our HVAC and plumbing work in Marana and how it’s been part of this community’s growth.
Rite Way handles the complete range of plumbing services for Marana homeowners:
Marana Water draws from groundwater wells sitting in the Tucson Basin Aquifer. That groundwater carries mineral hardness that accumulates inside pipes, water heaters, and fixtures over time, and the problem compounds in older Continental Ranch homes where corrosion is already a factor. Mineral buildup reduces water heater efficiency, shortens appliance life, and can quietly raise your water bill before you realize anything is wrong. A whole home softener or filtration system addresses the root cause rather than treating the symptoms.
Monsoon season adds a second layer of stress. The Santa Cruz River corridor and the smaller washes running through Marana’s neighborhoods can generate significant drainage pressure during heavy rains. Homes on or near those corridors are more vulnerable to sewer backups and foundation drainage issues, and the caliche hardpan beneath most Marana slabs limits how quickly water can disperse. When surge conditions hit, problems can develop quickly.
Rite Way serves homeowners throughout all of Marana, including:
A plumbing problem that cannot wait deserves a real response, not a voicemail. Rite Way answers the phone around the clock, and when you call we will work through the situation with you to figure out what needs to happen next. Monsoon season brings the most concentrated run of urgent calls in Marana, particularly from homeowners near the Santa Cruz River corridor dealing with drain backups and sewer surges. If something feels wrong with your plumbing, calling sooner rather than later is almost always the right move.
Mineral scale is the primary reason water heaters fail ahead of schedule in Marana, and Continental Ranch is where we see it most acutely. A water heater that has never been flushed in a hard water household is quietly losing capacity every year it runs. Addressing it early, whether through regular maintenance, a whole home softener, or a timely replacement, is significantly less disruptive than dealing with a failed unit. Rite Way offers:
Hard water and aging copper are a combination that creates leak risk over time, and in Continental Ranch that combination is common. Pinhole leaks in particular can go weeks or months without being noticed, running up water bills and slowly damaging walls and subfloor materials before a visible sign appears. Rite Way uses advanced leak detection technology to find the problem before it escalates, and we pair that with leak prevention strategies that reduce the likelihood of it happening again. If your water bill has been creeping up without an obvious explanation, that is worth a call.
From aging pipes in Continental Ranch to hard water wearing down fixtures in Gladden Farms to new installations in Dove Mountain, Rite Way has the local knowledge and the track record to handle it. We have served the Tucson area since 1959 and we answer the phones around the clock. Call us any time or schedule online to get started.
We offer a full range of services including plumbing repair, installation, repiping, drain cleaning, leak detection, water filtration, water heater service, and preventive maintenance for homeowners across Continental Ranch, Gladden Farms, Dove Mountain, and surrounding areas.
Yes. We answer the phones around the clock and will work through the situation with you to determine the right next step.
If your home was built between 1989 and 2004, your copper supply lines are now between 20 and 35 years old. This is the range where pinhole leaks and pressure issues become increasingly common. A plumbing inspection is a worthwhile step if you have not had one recently.
Marana Water draws from groundwater wells in the Tucson Basin Aquifer, which carries mineral hardness that builds scale inside pipes, water heaters, and fixtures over time. Homes without a softener or filtration system tend to see appliances wear out faster as a result.
Yes. We provide free estimates before any work begins and walk you through exactly what we recommend and why.
We install and service both traditional tank systems and tankless water heaters. We will assess your household’s usage and infrastructure before making a recommendation so you end up with the right fit.
Yes. Repiping is one of our more common services in Continental Ranch specifically, where original copper supply lines are now old enough to warrant replacement in many homes.
A rising water bill without an obvious cause is often the first sign. Other indicators include soft spots in drywall, musty odors near walls or under sinks, and unexplained drops in water pressure. Our leak detection service can locate the source accurately.
Yes. We offer financing options for projects including repiping, water heater installation, and tankless upgrades.
Over 13,000 Google reviews and a 4.9 star rating reflect more than six decades of showing up and doing the work right. We know Continental Ranch’s copper, Gladden Farms’ newer systems, and Dove Mountain’s higher-end installs, and we bring that specific knowledge to every job in this town.
