Kudos and five stars to Marco N. and RiteWay!Posted on Alexis StraussTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We own a 720 square foot mobile home. We wanted to install a split system, with existing vents. No vent work required. No electrical work required either. They had a “project manager” aka sales person come out to give us a quote. She was lovely and I really liked her and I know this isn’t her pricing. They quoted us $24,000 for a split system for a 720 square foot mobile home with existing vents and electrical already done. To put this in perspective- a nice split system unit is 3-4k. That means they want $20-21k in labor. Let’s say they send out 3 people and it takes 10 hours, that’s $700 an hour per worker. I work in the HVAC field, so I’m qualified when I say that you’re a HVAC technician not a brain surgeon. $700 an hour is absolutely bonkers. Then they say: well we have a great warranty! If you are paying $20k in labor then you’re actually paying for the warranty, it’s just wrapped up in a bow presented as “free” and “a courtesy”. I had two people tell me RiteWays pricing was outrageous prior to me getting the quote, I should’ve believed them LOLPosted on Matt HazeltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Big surprise to see water pouring out from my water heater when I woke up. I called Rite Way first thing and they sent me someone within a half hour. Within 3 hours I have a new water heater installed. This could have been an absolutely disaster but, thank god, Rite Way came to the rescue.

If you currently have an older furnace or central air conditioner, upgrading to a heat pump can be a smart financial move. Heat pumps provide both heating and cooling in one system, which means fewer repairs and less maintenance. Many Tucson homeowners replace their furnaces with heat pumps to save on monthly bills while improving reliability.
Some homes in Tucson don’t have existing ductwork, or the ducts may be in poor condition. A ductless heat pump, also called a mini split, is a flexible solution. These systems provide zoned comfort, making it easy to heat or cool specific rooms. They are efficient, quiet, and ideal for additions, older homes, or spaces where running ductwork is expensive.
Mini split heat pump installation is one of our specialties. We mount compact indoor units on the wall or ceiling and connect them to an outdoor unit. With no ducts required, you avoid energy loss, keeping costs lower. Homeowners love mini splits because they allow customized comfort in each room.
For homeowners who want the most advanced option, geothermal heat pumps use the earth’s natural temperature to heat and cool your home. While installation costs more upfront, these systems offer the highest efficiency and the longest lifespan. If you’re planning to stay in your home long term, a geothermal heat pump installation could deliver unmatched reliability and energy savings.
Choosing a heat pump isn’t just about comfort; it’s about value. Here are the biggest benefits Tucson homeowners see:
Homeowners often ask whether a repair is enough or if replacement makes more sense. Replacement may be worth considering if:
In these cases, replacing the system can improve comfort, efficiency, and reliability. Our team will explain your options clearly and help you compare repair needs versus replacement benefits, so you can make the choice that fits your home and budget.
We know installation prices can feel overwhelming. That’s why Rite Way offers financing options to spread out costs over time. Whether you’re upgrading to a standard split system, mini split, or geothermal heat pump, our flexible financing helps you stay comfortable without financial stress.
After installing a heat pump, there are a few steps you can take to get the most from your system:
These simple steps help extend the life of your system and protect your investment.

A central heat pump uses ductwork to move air throughout the home. A ductless, or mini-split, heat pump uses small indoor units connected directly to an outdoor unit. Both provide heating and cooling, but ductless options are best for homes without ducts or with specific room needs.
