Your air conditioner or heat pump uses more energy than any other system in your home. An inefficient air conditioning system can result in higher electric bills and lost comfort.

Through TEP’s Efficient Home Program, local companies like Rite Way can conduct a detailed in-home energy efficiency audit to help you choose improvements and identify available incentives.

During a screening, a specially trained Rite Way employee will analyze the energy use of your air conditioning system using the CheckMe!® computer diagnostic. The CheckMe! system, refined over 20 years of use by thousands of air conditioning service technicians, will be used to look for common issues including:

Incorrect refrigerant level
Low airflow through the indoor coil
Duct system air leakage

This CheckMe! diagnostic has been used to detect problems in more than 250,000 homes nationwide and will allow our technician to correct common problems during the visit to your home, increasing your home efficiency.

I contacted Rite Way, explained my situation and they began the process of getting a tech to our home stat. Miguel arrived with a couple hours, it was nice to see a familiar face, as Miguel had been to the house before. Miguel got to our home and went right to work, finding the problem within minutes of his arrival. We took a look at the unit out back, fuse panel, etc., prior to beginning any work. Miguel explained to me what he found, how he would remedy it, and how long it should take. Miguel worked with me on pricing, even speaking to his manager for extenuating circumstances. He was on time, thorough, and made sure the job was done correctly, answering all of my questions. He was done exactly when he said he would be and did a final check to make sure all the vent covers were in place and there were no loose ones.. This is the third time Omar has done a service at our house and he is always top notch. Thanks Omar! Today, 18 September 2026, Ramon Castillo can't to check on a condensation leak in my system. In just a few minutes he was able to diagnose and correct the problem without pushing any expensive services. His excellent service is exactly why I stay with Rite Way year after year.
