Rachel's Rescue
Rachel's Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and puppies, a cause close to the heart of Rachel, who loved animals deeply. Founded on June 1, 2023, in Rachel's memory, the organization aims to carry on her passion for helping animals in need. Rachel was tragically murdered on June 4, 2022, just one week before her 20th birthday, but her love for animals lives on through this rescue. The website for Rachel's Rescue serves to honor her legacy, share her story, and invite others to join in her mission of animal care and compassion.

Pima Animal Care Center
At Pima Animal Care Center (PACC), we are dedicated to finding loving homes for pets in need while providing compassionate care. Due to an increase in intake, the shelter is experiencing a kennel space crisis, but we remain committed to finding homes for every pet. As the community’s only open-admission shelter, we offer the largest selection of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens, all waiting to meet their new best friends. Every adopted pet is micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and comes with a free vet visit.

Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center
The City’s Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center spans 12,500 square feet and provides top-tier care for stray and abandoned animals. It features 55 dog and 32 cat kennels, climate control for the animals' comfort, and commercial-grade cleaning equipment for sanitation.
The facility was partially funded by a $1 million bequest from Nancy J. Brua’s estate. Brua, a former Army nurse, was stationed at Fort Huachuca early in her career and served 13 months as a front-line surgical nurse in Vietnam.
